Oh, excellent question. Maybe having the best recall of the phonetic alphabet? "B as in boy, R as in reach, E as in elephant" and so on is inefficient.

That is a rather stupid example, but it is practical and has real life application, I think.

I don't think it's stupid, especially when there is such a mix of accents around. It's easy to mishear things spelled aloud.

It exists for a reason! What would your underrated skill of choice be?

I'd like to be able to perfectly shade-match colours. It would save me so much space if I could easily and quickly make up different shades without having to fiddle with it.

I was told it was an essential skill of a proper young lady, but I enjoyed it enough. I like landscapes.

It was certainly better than embroidery! I find I have less time to paint now and more deesire to do so.
