Yes, they're rather stingy with the amount per day, but they are unique and meaningful.

What's the best compliment you've received?

[mallodrama]

Once this random man was just super casually like 'you're really beautiful, you know', and it wasn't sleazy and he didn't ask for my number or keep bothering me, it was just like he felt like he needed to tell me with no expectations around it and that was weirdly really nice?

But also once when a friend came to see a production during uni and they told me they forgot it was me up there because I was so the character. That always means a lot.

What's your favorite compliment?

I don't have a favorite, they all have a special place.

I was told once in grad school that a presentation I gave was indicative of a bright and thoughtful mind by a visiting professor from Yale, and I thought that was rather unexpected and kind. I worked very hard on it, so the acknowledgement from a perfect stranger was very much appreciated.

Are they all challenging, as well?

I'm sure everyone who saw your presentation thought the same even if they didn't say it.

Some more than others, but yes.

They were likely more concerned with their own projects, but by and large, it was a supportive group. I quite liked their feedback.
